Chattanooga!

Blog #13: September 17, 2018:

One of the best things I ever did was to sign up to be a Bone Marrow Donor in the 90s. In 1999 I got the call that I was a match for a woman who had leukemia. I was able to help Susan, and we have become good friends too! I highly recommend signing up!

Susan brought us to downtown Chattanooga to see their famous Chattanooga Choo Choo! The gift shops were fun too.

This is my kind of mural!

Next Susan brought us up to Rock City on the top of Lookout Mountain. Awesome!

Not only is Rock City known for it's amazing amount of rock work, it also has an incredible view!

We had a wonderful day at Rock City!

Then Susan treated us to dinner at the Boathouse, a wonderful restaurant right on the Tennessee River.  We even saw what looked like an old fashioned paddle boat.

We said our goodbyes to Susan and headed through Alabama towards the Florida coast! Diesel here in Chattanooga is the cheapest we've ever seen!
